For the last 10 days or so, I was suffering form exceeding bandwidth of my server. Based on my website tracking, it was caused by some malice downloading of my software referred from taisha. The bandwidth just went out quickly.
And the unfortunate thing is, on the same day that the server crashed, I released a note to the entire school to play the yearbook survey application on facebook, which was set up on this server. So, in order to minimize the loss, I set up another free php host and domain overnight. Ironically, the free host has bigger storage and bandwidth than has this freaking paid server.
Another worry came form my university application, because I left the website address as my online portfolio. Therefore, there’s a pretty good chance that these school has already missed it.
I was thinking about posting my physics project a few days ago, but I couldn’t do anything with the frozen server. Now I finally can, but after a few days maybe. The issue here is that the busiest time has past, but I can’t completely slack off, cause I have to maintain the grade at school. I am not in the study mood at all.
Today, I met the interviewer of Cornell, together with 4 other competitive students from Vancouver. The interview was not bad, and visiting the architecture firm in North Van also broadened my vision. But meeting other extremely competitive beasts made me feel that I was the person who had no clue why being there, the person with the least hope, the person who is just fooling around.
Anyways, chill.
